Surf One Robert August II Complete Longboard Review
One of the best features of this longboard skateboard is that it has a kingpin that goes all the way through the truck and comes out the front as opposed to inside like other trucks are known to do. This special kingpin design makes the trucks more responsive when navigating turns giving the rider the ability to achieve the desired quick fluid movements. The classic endless summer design looks great as you maneuver around and the board operates with stability at downhill speeds too. Many reviewers love the fact that this skateboard has great, strong wheels and carves nicely on the street. Aside from that, one reviewer mentioned that he was able to turn it like a short board with quick fluid movements.
Due to board stiffness if you plan on doing more than just the basic carving, you will be disappointed. It is the perfect board for cruising and handles well though if that is all you are looking to do. The wheels on this particular board might be too hard for some people so if you are looking for a softer ride you will need to switch wheels to a softer set. Another down side could be the price that is slightly more expensive than other models.
